FINAL PASSAGEHB 4458 (Miller) House Bill 4458 would add trauma scene clean-ups under the Medical Waste Act, impose new regulations on medical waste disposal procedures and require new medical waste treatment technology to be reviewed and approved by the state.
HB 4459 (Miller) House Bill 4459 would amend the public health code to require state registration and regulation of trauma scene waste management practitioners, who engage in the cleanup, handling, and transport of waste from a trauma scene.
HB 4694 (Sheltrown) House Bill 4694 amends PA 451 of 1994, the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act. The bill would simply update references in this act to refer to the new Uniform Securities Act that passed last session.

HB 4070 (Rocca) The bill would amend the Insurance Code to prohibit insurance companies from increasing the premium for an automobile or home insurance policy during the term of the policy. The only exception to this would be if the premium had been based on materially incorrect information provided by the applicant or insured.
