Media Advisory: Kahn to visit local Student Credit Union

Who: State Sen. Roger Kahn, R-Saginaw Township.

What: Kahn will meet with participating students of Team One Credit Union's "Student Credit Union" program to learn about the concept and discuss the importance of making smart money decisions.

When: May 12, 2008 8:45-9:45 a.m.

Where: Handley Elementary School 1101 N. Bond Saginaw, MI

Briefing: Team One currently serves more than 800 students at area schools through its Student Credit Union program. Participants meet once a week and learn how to reach their financial goals by developing strong saving habits, and how good and bad credit choices can affect their financial goals.
