LANSING--Following the announcement that Delphi plans eliminating some benefits for white-collar employees and retirees, Sen. Roger Kahn, R-Saginaw Township, issued the following statement:
"While I understand that Delphi is under severe financial hardship, I ask that they consider all other avenues for cost savings rather than eliminating a promise made to their loyal retirees.
"People and businesses across the state are struggling. I hope that Delphi will continue to look for other ways to save money and leave no stone unturned."
