17th Annual Memorial Day Service.

Department of Michigan Veterans of Foreign Wars’ State Honor Guard;
Kalamazoo Pipe Band;
Veteran post commanders;
Michigan National Guard;
Gold Star mother Laura De Roo;
Katie Youmans Eichler, widow of fallen soldier Sgt. Joshua V. Youmans;
The state Senate;
Gold Star families; and
Members of the public.

Michigan Senate Chamber, Capitol Building, Lansing.

Thursday, May 26, at 10 a.m.

BRIEF:
The 17th Annual Memorial Day Service will honor Michigan soldiers who gave their lives in service to our country. Lawmakers will remember soldiers from their districts who made the ultimate sacrifice in the past 12 months. Families who lost loved ones will also be recognized by the Senate.
