  • Senate Business Office - Senior Front-End Application Developer
    Under the direction of the Director of the Senate Business Office and supervised by the Application Development Manager, the Senior Front-End Application Developer is responsible for directing and participating in the design, programming, and maintenance of information solutions for use by the Senate and provides technical leadership to a team or teams of developers. The Senior Front-End Application Developer is also responsible for the technical guidance, support and integration of legislative applications and deployment, retention and integration systems and infrastructure.

  • Senate Fiscal Agency - Economist
    The Senate Fiscal Agency, a nonpartisan agency of the Michigan Legislature, is seeking an Economist. The position may involve any of the following: assisting the Senior Economist with forecasting the United States and Michigan economies, assisting in the estimating of State revenue, analyzing economic and other legislation being considered by the Michigan Senate, and analyzing the State budget in support of the Michigan Senate.

  • Senate Fiscal Agency - Fiscal Analyst
    The Senate Fiscal Agency, a nonpartisan agency of the Michigan Legislature, is seeking a Fiscal Analyst. Fiscal Analysts are responsible primarily for analyzing the State budget in support of the Michigan Senate.

  • Senate Business Office - Employee Engagement Assistant
    Under the direction of the Director of the Senate Business Office (SBO) and supervised by the Employee Engagement & Project Coordinator, the Employee Engagement Assistant performs a variety of administrative functions, including recruiting and interviewing prospective employees, facilitating the performance review process, researching and recommending strategies to improve engagement, and assisting with program design to foster it, such as employee recognition programs, wellness programs, and other activities aimed at creating a positive workplace environment. The Employee Engagement Assistant will also provide high-level administrative support to the SBO.

    The individual will provide assistance to the Senate Democratic staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.
  • Senator Bumstead - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.
  • Senator Chang - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.
  • Senator Daley - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.
  • Senator Geiss - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.
  • Senator Hertel - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.
  • Senator Hollier - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management. Some responsibilities will include: monitoring legislation, preparing written correspondence, and conducting legislative research.
  • Senator Huizenga - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management. Some responsibilities will include: monitoring legislation, preparing written correspondence, and conducting legislative research.
  • Senator LaSata - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management. Some responsibilities will include: monitoring legislation, preparing written correspondence, and conducting legislative research.
  • Senator Johnson - Intern

  • Senator Nesbitt - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.   • Senator MacDonald - Intern

  • Senator Runestad - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management. Some responsibilities will include: monitoring legislation, preparing written correspondence, and conducting legislative research.
  • Senator Santana - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.
  • Senator Shirkey - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.
  • Senator Theis - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management. Some responsibilities will include: monitoring legislation, preparing written correspondence, and conducting legislative research.
  • Senator Wozniak - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff and will be responsible for a wide range of responsibilities, including answering phone calls and taking messages from constituents, researching legislation to support the Senator's staff, and assisting with general office management. They will have the opportunity to see firsthand how a legislative office functions and how the legislative process plays out in state government.
